FAQ
What
do I have to bring?
Just bring your good
mood, a swimsuit, a
towel and sportshoes (they
get wet)
I have never done
canyoning. Can I do it?
Of course you can. Just
choose the right tour to
start with and you'll
see, that it's easier
than you imagine. And
remember: a higher level
doesn't necessarily mean
more fun.
Do
I have to be a good
swimmer?
For canyoning you don't
need perfekt swimming
skills, just feel
confortable with water.
Do I have to do all
the jumps, also the high
ones?
None of the jumps are
compulsory. There is
always the possibility
to descent with the rope,
if you don't feel
confortable on one of
the jumps.
And if I have
never done absailing?
Before the first rope
descent our guides will
explain to all of you
how to do it. It is not
difficult and very funny.
Is
canyoning for women?
More than half of our
guests are women and
they do as good as or
even better than the
men.
Is it possible to
go canyoning with a body
impairment?
We like to think that
canyoning is for
everybody. In many years
of our activity we have
taken several disabled
people through the
canyon and it always was
a very special pleasure
for us. Contact us, we
will try.
Is there an age limit?
The minimum age is 12.
As for the maximum:
Andrè did a tour with us
on his 70th birthday…
And if I wear glasses?
People wearing glasses
can keep them on, just
bind them with a tape.
If you want we provide
shockproof cases. Also
contact
lenses can be worn, you
just need to get used to
wearing them in water.
Photos
If you want to
immortalize the most
exiting moments, on
demand we provide
digital photoservice and
burn the pictures on a
CD for you. For those
who want to take their
own camera, ask about
our waterproof "pelicase".
